PE and Sports Premium
We believe every child should have the chance to enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle. Experiencing sport and physical activity positively from an early age helps children develop lifelong habits and supports their overall wellbeing. It also plays an important role in achieving the government’s vision for a world-class education system.
The PE and Sports Premium is additional government funding provided to primary schools to help improve the quality of physical education and sports for all children. We use this funding in a variety of ways, such as enhancing PE lessons, providing specialist coaching, running sports clubs, and offering more opportunities for children to take part in competitions. The aim is to increase participation, improve skills, and support a healthy, active lifestyle for every child. We regularly review how the funding is spent and report on the impact it has on pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
